Agency is happy to provide Maine private investigation services for individuals.  Clients who plan to use the results of an investigation as evidence in court should have already retained an attorney.  Agency will work with whomever is representing you to ensure the focus of the investigation remains relevant and useful to your case and the purpose of the investigation remains clear, reasonable and lawful.  If you have not yet retained an attorney, Agency is happy to recommend you to one who will represent you well.

A note for clients who wish to locate missing persons:

If you wish to locate someone for personal reasons (be it a biological parent or child after adoption, an old friend or long lost sibling), please keep in mind that it is unethical for a private investigator to provide you with contact information for that person without their consent.  This means that once the person you seek has been located, contact between the two of you is ultimately left up to them.  Be wary of an investigator who is willing to break the rules here.

Agency locates people in these cases frequently and is skilled at handling the situation delicately.  Though it is never guaranteed, contact between the two is established far more often than not.
